Mad River Bar & Grille opened in 1998 in the heart of Federal Hill and quickly became one of Baltimore's hot spots. Inside you'll find a welcoming atmosphere with a good-looking crowd of young professionals who are either meeting friends or making new ones seven days a week. With 15 H.D. flat screens as well as TVs in each individual booths, Mad River Baltimore is the only place to watch your favorite college and professional sports. In addition to the large main room, Mad River also features two of Federal Hills favorite private party areas, accommodating parties of all sizes. Known for it's high energy, fun music, and welcoming staff, Mad River Baltimore is THE place to go for dinner and drinks, to watch a game, or to plan your next party.
Named after a famous ski run in Vermont, Mad River opened in the late nineties, and has all the familiar trademarks of this popular East Coast concept, from the copper-top bars to pairs of skis on the wall. Baltimore is the third Mad River location, which originated on the Upper East Side of New York City. Then came Albany, NY, followed by Baltimore, then Old City, PA and last but not least Manayunk, PA.
